Description
The micro-image processing software package VisuMet identifies the main mineral phases in
sinter. Magnetite, hematite, calcium ferrite, siliceous glass as well as pores will be
distinguished by their different grey levels. VisuMet calculates the area in pixel of the phases
and the pores. Each phase is available as a binary image for further analysis.
