Description
European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) is a non profitable organization promoting metal powder technologies. It represents the powder metallurgy (PM) industry within Europe and Internationally, and develop the future of PM. This is achieved through driving research projects, offer extensive basic and advanced training, numerous seminars and arranging the main yearly PM conference in Europe.
Additive manufacturing (AM) using metal powders has been a focus area with EPMA since 2013. It quickly gained important momentum within EPMA and become the main driver during the yearly conference. It represents the vast majority of technical papers presented. Several internal AM research projects has been conducted by EPMA. On top of that EPMA participates currently in several EU financed projects.
